Conference Partnerships: Collaborating to Co-Liberate

Collaborate to co-liberate

In 2023, NESAWG will embark on a deep and intentional commitment to a long-term transformation in the Northeast region with the focus of creating a farm and food system for ALL that is regenerative, scalable, replicable, and rooted in love. In this transformation process, they will center voices of color and celebrate BIPOC leaders who have been tirelessly making meaningful change in the region.

We are looking forward to partnering with different regional conferences, farmer circles, food system gatherings and more this year. We will spend 2023 building new relationships with food system leaders and nourishing our existing relationships with our partners. We are collaborating to co-liberate!

The nesawg track at the 2023 NOFA/Mass Winter Conference

During this past January, NESAWG partnered with NOFA/Mass to bring you our first NESAWG Conference Track full with storytelling, share circles, caucusing, Farm Bill training and advocacy, panel shares, collective art liberation murals, community organizing, movement building and more!

The NESAWG Conference Track: Creating Food System Change Rooted in Love

What do we envision when we dare to dream of a food system rooted in love? What does deeply rooted unity look like when we honor our uniqueness and our interconnectedness? What does it feel like when we are in balance with Mother Earth- when we go back to our essence?

We asked attendees at the NOFA/Mass Conference what their vision of a "food system rooted in love" looks like. This is what they shared!

What does a food system rooted in love look like to you? You can share your vision here.
