Grad Student Poster Session

As a part of our 2017 conference, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our first ever poster session for graduate student researchers!  We are looking for masters and doctoral level research that focuses on topics related to food systems in our 12-state Northeast region, which includes Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.

As a poster presenter or attendee, students gain valuable professional experience discussing their research, and have the opportunity to network with fellow students and future colleagues. 

Presenter Eligibility
We welcome poster abstract submissions from graduate students at the masters and doctoral level.

Conference Topics
Research from all food systems-related fields in the 12-state Northeast region is welcome. Examples of poster topic areas include:

  • Food and Nutrition Policy
  • Economics        
  • Health Communication      
  • Agriculture                               
  • Food Justice        
  • Community-Based Interventions

Submit an Abstract
Abstract submissions are still being accepted. We are asking you to provide details about what you would present on your poster, including a 300 word abstract describing your research.  Please use the form below and contact posters@nesawg.org with any questions.
